"And what are you planning to do with that rope, mon cheri?" The strangely dressed man scoffed. A smile formed on Linn's face and her frozen fingers tightened around the rope.

"I plan on saving your life with it. I don't mean to kill you." She said simply and sweetly. The man seemed confused.

"Save my-" but before he could finish Linn threw a small vial at his feet and as it hit the icy ground beneath him it burst into flames. He was admittedly startled but she had underestimated the distance between them and the flames caught just infront of him and died almost as quickly as they formed.

"You missed." He said with a smile. But just as he drew his weapon he heard a sickening -CRACK-. And then he realized her plan a moment too late. The ice beneath him gave way and he plunged into the unbelievably cold dark waters of the Ice Plains.
