For my mother for Mother's Day

She loves parrots so I drew one for her for a card. I made it fairly quick about 2-3 hours. I referenced a photo for the pose. Nothing much to say about it but I thought it turned out half decent so I'm submitting it.

Maybe the background its too Simple or "desertic"

But I agree, my initial idea was to draw a tropical oasis scene for the background but I decided for a card it would look too cluttered. ^^;
